YOUR WORKSHEET

Plan the next 90 seconds.

Write one concrete sentence for each beat. Your story text stays in this tab and is not autosaved; copy or download the outline before leaving.

01 / BUILD THE EPISODE

THE METHOD

A beat sheet is a test, not a rulebook.

Make the first image do work. The viewer should encounter a change before an explanation. A visible clue, decision or interruption can make the lead’s immediate problem legible on a small screen.

Let pressure change the choice. The middle of the episode should force the character to act, then reveal something that alters the next decision. A cliffhanger earns its place when it raises a particular consequence, not when a scene simply stops.

Check production reality. Read the draft aloud, time it, and ask whether a vertical frame can show the necessary information. The suggested seconds are starting points; dialogue speed and visual storytelling will change the actual runtime.

This worksheet does not generate a script or predict audience performance. For a longer explanation, read our 90-second episode playbook, or study an Episode 01 preview.
